About Kickflip

Kickflip is the product configurator software powering ecommerce personalization. From sneakers to bikes to jewelry, our clients let their customers design products in real time, right inside their online store. We’re on Shopify, WooCommerce and Wix. Our goal: make product personalization scalable and profitable.

Building Kickflip’s Partner Program

We’re looking for a Partner Manager who can run the whole thing, from sourcing and outreach to closing and activating new partners.

Prospect. Outreach. Meet. Close. Enable.

You’ll build your own partner pipeline, create targeted lists, reach out, book calls, then run those calls, sign partners, and help them succeed with Kickflip.

This is a brand new acquisition channel for Kickflip, and you’ll help us shape it from day one.

Role Overview

Our partner program, tiers, and value proposition are already in place, your job is to:

  • Bring new partners into the program

  • Make sure they are trained and enabled

  • Turn them into a consistent source of new Kickflip clients

You’ll work closely with Marketing, Sales & Customer Success but you’re directly responsible for partner-driven pipeline and deals.

What’s a Kickflip Partner

A Kickflip partner is an ecommerce or marketing agency that:

  • Regularly works with brands that could sell configurable / personalized products

  • Builds and optimizes Shopify / Wix / WooCommerce stores

  • Recommends Kickflip as their go-to platform for selling custom products

  • Can implement and maintain Kickflip for their clients

  • Generates revenue from client projects, plus a recurring commission from Kickflip

In other words: they bring the merchant, the strategy, and the build; Kickflip brings the product customization platform.

Why partners choose Kickflip

  • Far more affordable than building a custom solution, enabling them to win clients who don’t have 300k+ for a custom build

  • They can generate strong service revenue on top of Kickflip — without having to deal with any of the underlying tech complexity

  • Dramatically faster time-to-market for complex, configurable products

  • They trust Kickflip as the leading customization platform, with clear ambition to be the global market leader

Key Responsibilities

1. Partner Acquisition (your #1 focus)

  • Identify and prospect new partners (Shopify, Wix, Woo / ecommerce and marketing agencies).

  • Book and run discovery and pitch calls with potential partners.

  • Clearly articulate the value of partnering with Kickflip and how it helps grow their revenue.

  • Secure partnership agreements.

2. Onboarding & Enablement

  • Ensure new partners quickly understand:

    • The Kickflip platform

    • Our ideal customer profiles

    • Positioning and pricing

    • How to sell, implement and support Kickflip with their clients

  • Deliver live onboarding sessions and share playbooks, decks, and resources.

  • Make sure partners know exactly what to do next to bring their first opportunities.

3. Partner Activation & Handoff

  • Act as the primary point of contact until a new partner becomes active.

  • Ensure partners are properly onboarded: introductions, resources, training on how to refer clients, and guidance to help them bring their first client live.

  • Once a partner is active, coordinate a smooth handoff to our Sales and Customer Success teams for ongoing relationship management, co-selling, and long-term growth.

  • Gather structured feedback from partners and share insights with the team to help improve our partner program, resources, and processes.

4. Operations & Reporting

  • Keep partner records and pipelines up to date in the CRM and partner tools.

  • Suggest improvements to the partner program based on what you see in the field.

A Typical Day for a Partner Manager

  • Review partner pipeline, prioritize follow-ups, and prepare for calls.

  • Meet with agencies to understand their needs, present Kickflip, and show how they can win more projects with it.

  • Support active partners through scoping, proposals, co-selling efforts, and sharing best practices.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to move partner deals forward.

  • Prospect new agencies that fit Kickflip’s ideal partner profile by identifying qualified leads, engaging them through personalized outreach, and representing Kickflip at industry events.

What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)

  • A steady stream of new partners joining the program each month.

  • Engaged partners actively bringing deals and closing projects with Kickflip.

  • Partner-sourced and partner-influenced deals are a meaningful and growing share of new revenue.

Who You Are

  • Deep understanding of how an ecommerce-focused/marketing agency operates.

  • Some experience in business development and sales, with a strong awareness that sales is a numbers game and the drive to follow through consistently.

  • You’re proactive by default – you don’t wait for leads, you create them (outbound emails, DMs, calls, events).

  • Proven track record of:

    • Building a pipeline

    • Running discovery and pitch calls

    • Closing agreements or deals

    • Managing a busy calendar of meetings and follow-ups

  • You’re comfortable being measured on activity (calls, meetings, new partners) and outcomes (pipeline, revenue).

  • Strong relationship builder: you can quickly build trust with agency owners and employees.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English; you can explain value simply and clearly.

  • Highly organized and structured: you keep your pipeline, CRM and follow-ups clean and up to date.

  • Experience with a CRM (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce).
